The First Week in August

That is my hopeful, tentative date of return to wearing shoes on both feet and walking normally again. I think I would like to get back in the swing of things, so I don't think I will be starting back up with the 30 for 30 challenge.

I hate this, because I really wanted to do this challenge, but I just feel so far behind, and I really just want to wear clothes without constraints after having crutches and then having to wear this stupid boot.

Ah well, as the title says, I will see you the first week in August with shoes on both feet, walking and standing like a normal person!

Also, another reason for the cancellation of my 30 for 30 attempt, the SECOND week in August? Vacation. So even more non-blogging going on here.

Maybe next time I will be able to do this whole 30 for 30 challenge thing all the way through.

Postponed

Sadly, I have to postpone my 30 for 30 challenge because I broke my ankle yesterday.

Until it heals I will be wearing the same thing for days straight eating junk food on my couch. Hopefully I will have a quick recovery and be back to sharing my clothing with all you lovely people out there in the blogoshpere.

Coming Soon to a Blog Near You

Sadly, I have discovered that one of my skirts that I was going to use for the 30 for 30 Challenge has a giant rip in it making it unwearable.

I already have a different skirt chosen to replace it, and I'll have a picture of it up soon.

I will also have yesterday and today's outfits posted soon.

Things are not what they seem

So you see that skirt? Yeah, it's not actually a skirt. It's a shirt!

So I keep finding really awesome jewelry of my mom's, but you can't really see any of it in the pictures because of glare and such....

The shirt, skirt, and shoes are all from Target (wow, I need to start shopping other places besides Target).

So I'm now4 days in and I fee like I have nothing to wear! I mean, there's a pile of stuff and yet it's just like having a full closet of stuff, you feel like there's NOTHING THERE! hah I think I'm going crazy.

Black and Gold (and red)

So I look particularly angry in this picture, but actually I'm not, I'm just squinting. The shirt and skirt are from Target, the bracelet is thrifted, and the shoes are American Eagle.

You can't really see my necklace very well in this picture but it's really awesome. It's an actual leaf, but dipped in gold or imprinted or something (not really sure). It's so unique and pretty. I permanently borrowed it (aka claimed as my own) from my mom.

I loooooove red lipstick. It's so vibrant and versatile. I'm wearing Ruby Woo by MAC in this picture and it is amazing.

I feel like this outfit is a bit dressy for daytime, but it's fun! So who cares?

Apparently I can't count.

So I have somehow ended up with 33 items instead of 30...

I am going to get rid of the black dress, the sandals, and the white tank top.

Thank you Ady for noticing that!

Day Two

This outfit makes me want to run through fields or flowers of something. It's so light and bright, and just fun. Although I think I would take the shoes off, I would definitely trip and fall on my face if I tried to run in those shoes.

It's also kind of sophisticated looking. Like I could go on a lunch date or something in this.

The top is from Nordstrom. I absolutely love this top because it is so silky smooth and it feels great on my skin. It's also really versatile. I can wear i with pretty much anything. The pattern looks like watercolor flowers, and it's so eye catching.

The shorts are from Target. If you'll notice, they're exactly like the shorts I wore yesterday, except a different color. I also have an identical pair in black. I tend to buy lots of the same thing if I like it.

I think the shoes were a gift from my mom, but I don't really remember. They remind me of the 60's/70's and they're pretty darn comfy for being like 5 inches.

I noticed my thighs look kind of wonky in all of these pictures... maybe it's just the angles? Oh well.

Did you notice that the pictures were pretty non-blurry? I did! I guess I just needed a little more practice balancing my camera on ledges and then racing in front of it to get a picture.
